Each professional brings a wealth of experience and knowledge to our barn and provides quality instruction for their students. Each has a different training method and distinctive flair, so students have the opportunity to choose a style of teaching and discipline tailored for their needs.

Philosophy:  First priority is safety of the students and the horses.  Communication is a fundamental key to her methods.  Stacey treats riding as a formal subject rather than just a hobby, supplies a syllabus to guide the lessons, structured lesson plans, and information to create a school for riding and equestrian pursuits with realistic goals.

Dressage

Students with horses

Philosophy:  Using positive reinforcement methods to train in the

classical principals of Dressage, through an understanding of the

language of the horse. Virginia considers the biomechanics and biodynamics of the horse and horse/rider partnership, teaching and training in a way that the horse can volunteer to perform to the extent of his capabilities. All horses and riders can benefit regardless of discipline or goals. Virginia is happy to assist a beginner rider as well as an upper level trainer. Full Bio is available on her website. Please call or email Virginia directly for more information.
